Belgian Privacy Commission Approves Johnson Controls’ Binding Corporate Rules: First as Lead Authority

Brussels – January 27, 2015: Belgian Privacy Commission Approves Johnson Controls’ Binding Corporate Rules: First as Lead Authority.

On January 7, 2015, Johnson Controls received authorization for its binding corporate rules (BCR), marking the first approval where the Belgian Privacy Commission acted as a lead authority. Lorenz Privacy & Data Protection Team, led by Jan Dhont, assisted Johnson Controls with its BCR process and is pleased to announce the finalization of the procedures.

Lorenz is currently assisting a wide variety of clients with international transfers of personal information as well as other data protection and privacy related issues.
