Lorenz experience in dispute settlement includes the following matters:

  • Representation of the Kyrgyz Government at the international arbitration tribunal (arbitration place – Sweden). The claimed amount was 18 million USD;
  • Representation of the Kyrgyz Government at the international arbitration tribunal (arbitration place – Sweden). The claimed amount was 6 million USD;
  • Representation of the state-owned company “Kyrgyztelecom” in a dispute with foreign investors (arbitration place – the USA);
  • Representation of the Kyrgyz Government in international dispute resolution negotiations with foreign companies. The dispute was settled out of arbitration and the claimed amount was 30 million USD;
  • Representation of the Ministry of Finance/Kyrgyz Government in dispute resolution negotiations with foreign bank. The dispute was settled out of arbitration and the claimed amount was 2 million USD;
  • Representation of the state-owned company “Kyrgyzaltyn” in dispute resolution negotiations with foreign investors;
  • Representation of the Civil Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic in the negotiations relating to the settlement of a dispute with foreign investors. The dispute was settled out of arbitration, with mediation of MIGA, and the claimed amount was more than 30 million USD.
