Professional Profile

Mrs. Claudia Allatta is a partner in the Lorenz Brussels office. She is competent in a wide range of employment law issues and also has a  background in corporate law.

She specializes in various types of collective employment law (reorganisation process: e.g. mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, closing of business, transfer of branch or business, restructuring) as well as individual employment law matters (such as hiring process, discrimination issues, expatriate status, secondment, dismissals). She provides expert advice on all areas of employment and benefits law (e.g., shares schemes, stock options plans, bonus schemes, compensation and benefits, benefits in kind). She advises on labour law aspects of employee representation (European and national work councils). She assists in various internal HR policies, recruitment guidelines and career development at national and EU levels (e.g., on corporate securities, use of email, internet, treatment of private information, discrimination). She advises clients on EU and national impacts of new legislation or case law on HR management. She advises clients on absenteeism and overtime issues.
