François Pons meets the US Ambassador to the European Union, Mr. William E. Kennard
François Pons, member of the Lorenz international law team had an opportunity to meet and interview the new US Ambassador to the EU, Mr. William E. Kennard. In a casual atmosphere, the Ambassador shared his views on the transatlantic relations, which have received a new boost, one year after the election of President Obama. He commented the difficulties encountered by the delegations to the Copenhagen summit in adopting a binding agreement on the question of CO2 emissions and explained how the perception of this issue might be different on the other side of the Atlantic.
